L\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 1995 une nouveaut\u00e9 arrive la SLK, cette fois ci, le nouveau n\u00e9 a vu le jour chez l\u2019Oncle SAM et pour conqu\u00e9rir un public jeune, Mercedes a muni son roadster d\u2019un toit rigide repliable et a gav\u00e9 le moteur 2L3 d\u2019un compresseur. Dix ans plus tard, le compresseur s\u2019en va. Les C180 et C200 CGI ont re\u00e7u un turbocompresseur pour le remplacer. Cela ne saute pas aux yeux \u00e0 la lecture des fiches techniques, puisque les puissances sont les m\u00eames, mais les courbes de couple sont plus plates, et les consommations sont l\u00e9g\u00e8rement en baisse, avec une combustion plus propre, puisque ces nouveaux moteurs r\u00e9pondent d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 la norme antipollution Euro&nbsp;5. Pr\u00e9cisons cependant que tous ces progr\u00e8s ne sont pas d\u00fbs au seul turbocompresseur. L\u2019alimentation est nouvelle, c\u2019est maintenant une injection directe. Aujourd\u2019hui, Mercedes a tout revue de fond en comble, admission, syst\u00e8me d\u2019injection, \u00e9chappement, compromis moteur-boite. Nous pouvons m\u00eame dire qu\u2019avec une nouvelle alimentation, et une nouvelle suralimentation, les ing\u00e9nieurs ont d\u00fb revoir le moteur int\u00e9gralement. Mais cela ne r\u00e9pond \u00e0 la question du pourquoi le changement de compresseur \u00e0 turbocompresseur.<\/p>\n<p>Cela avait de l\u2019allure pourtant, le logo&nbsp;<strong>Kompressor<\/strong>&nbsp;sur les roadsters SLK d\u2019il y a quelques ann\u00e9es. Le turbo est plus facile et plus avantageux \u00e0 contr\u00f4ler, avec un tr\u00e8s grand nombre de param\u00e8tres possibles, pour modifier la force ou la temp\u00e9rature des gaz r\u00e9inject\u00e9s (bypass, intercooler\u2026), voire m\u00eame une g\u00e9om\u00e9trie variable, alors qu\u2019un compresseur <strong>Roots<\/strong> est toujours trop d\u00e9pendant du r\u00e9gime moteur. Le turbo enfin, se marie tr\u00e8s bien avec les bo\u00eetiers de gestion \u00e9lectronique d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui, pour donner des m\u00e9caniques au fonctionnement optimis\u00e9 \u00e0 tous les r\u00e9gimes. Le compresseur subsistera sur quelques applications tr\u00e8s particuli\u00e8res, comme le 3&nbsp;litres TFSI d\u2019Audi, mais partout ailleurs, et notamment sous tous les capots Mercedes, le turbo a
